Foundations

A Foundation offers the benefits of a trust and a company and is particularly more appealing to clients familiar with civil law. They are efficient vehicles used in the wealth management arena, especially for asset holding/protection, succession planning, holding structure for SPV or charitable and philanthropic causes.

DTOS is fully geared to:

  • Assist in the setting up of Foundations in Mauritius,
  • Assist in the migration of Foundations from other jurisdictions to Mauritius.
  • Provide council members as required whose role is central to the proper functioning of the Foundation.
  • Act as secretary to the Foundation and ensure the activities are in line with the Foundation’s charter and articles
  • Provide Tax compliance, computation and filing services, where required.
  • Provide Bookkeeping and accounting services.

ensure compliance under FATCA/CRS;


• Assist in compiling, assessing, validating and reporting the
reportable information under FATCA/CRS to the competent
authorities in XML format.
