With a lighthouse built on the island in 1864, Ile au Phare was among the first islands to be discovered in 1598 by the Dutch settlers.
The islet was instrumental to the capture of the Ile de France by the British in 1810 and serves as an inspiration for DTOS in guiding its clients and being a trusted lightener through turbulent times.
